Industrial Control Systems
The team at Neo has had extensive experience in the design and construction management of numerous industrial automation, instrumentation and process control systems. To achieve this Neo works closely with process engineers to ensure all process requirements are provided within the hardware design. This not only includes the primary control hardware like programmable logic controllers (PLC), remote input and output (RIO) devices, network switches and variable speed drives (VSD), but all the support hardware like uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, field wiring interface and surge protection.
Neo has undertaken multiple new greenfield deployments as well as the replacement of obsolete legacy systems. Projects have ranged from small remote terminal units (RTUs) to larger distributed control system (DCS) systems.
Typically a control systems replacement is required due to a product end-of life or a fundamental change in the control schematic. Limited opportunity for prolonged shutdowns is the greatest challenge with these projects. The Neo team has developed design, migration and risk management methodologies that minimise plant downtime.
