Our Services
Project Management Expertise
The need for outsourced project management expertise can arise for several reasons:
- The planned capex investment is increasing within your organisation, requiring a short-term increase in project management staff.
- A critical site or network issue has triggered the need for equipment upgrades or replacements. This in turn needs to be orchestrated by an experienced project management team – and current internal resources won’t stretch to cover this urgent requirement.
- A key project manager has left your company and it will take time to find a replacement.
Neo has the ability to manage your project through its entire lifecycle, or for specific phases only. We can be based within your organisation as a secondment; remotely, at our Newmarket premises; or we can work at the project site office.
Over the years we have developed many useful relationships with third parties – contractors, specialists and other stakeholders – across a number of disciplines within the industry. Our practical experience will enable us to develop innovative solutions to any problems we may encounter while managing your project.
Our project management skills and expertise can be applied to any or all of these needs:
Design phase management
We will manage the design phase of your project. This will typically entail us working
with the project design consultant and internal stakeholders to ensure the design is delivered to expectations. In many cases, we may also be the design consultant.
Tendering process management
Neo will produce the tender and contract documentation required for sourcing an installation contractor, using the appropriate organisation templates or standard contracts. We will also evaluate the bids received on your behalf and provide recommendations against defined criteria.
Construction management
As experienced designers, we are able to determine whether the contractor is correctly
following the design. If the issues are minor, we will be able to answer site queries as they arise. More significant issues will be addressed by communicating with associated stakeholders, contractors and design consultants as necessary.
Risk management
We believe that the proactive management of risk is a key attribute of successful project management. Throughout the project lifecycle, we work with the client and implementation stakeholders to identify risks that may affect the project success and then facilitate the mitigation or control of risks to ensure the successful outcome of the project.
